Attorney Ricky Anderson, Senior Partner at Attorney Ricky Anderson, PLLC, is a distinguished figure in the field of entertainment law. A 1979 graduate of Benton Harbor High School, he pursued his passion for business and law by earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University in 1983. He further honed his legal expertise by obtaining his Juris Doctor Degree from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law in 1992, the same year he was admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
A Legacy of Excellence: Attorney Anderson’s illustrious career began as Managing Partner of the Law Firm of Anderson & Smith P.C., where he served from 1994 to 2020. In 2020, he founded Attorney Ricky Anderson, PLLC, continuing his mission to provide top-tier legal representation to clients across the entertainment spectrum. His commitment to education was exemplified through his role as an Adjunct Professor at Thurgood Marshall School of Law from 1998 to 2023, where he lectured on Entertainment Law, Music Industry Contracts, and Trial Preparation.
